Isang Daang at isang Aspin (101 Aspins)

Animal, Nature and Landscapes, Photo Projects, Photo Projects

Aside from the title which was inspired from the “101 dalmatians” movie. This project is intended as well to tell stories on how I encounter different ASPIN or “Asong Pinoy” along with each of my travels and photo walks. My intention is to show how adorable and how strong they are to survive living outdoors. Other than that, I started also this project to somehow promote ANIMAL WELFARE ACT like to create awareness in stop slaughtering and selling them for food. It also encourages other dog lovers to be more appreciative with dogs with mixed breeds because nowadays there are more people who are becoming dog lovers but most of them only want to buy dogs with pure breeds. Spending thousands of money just to buy dogs with breeds rather than having an option to adopt mixed breed dogs, stray street dogs or rescue dogs from an animal sanctuary.

This is an ongoing project until it will reach to “Isang daan at isang Aspin” (101 Aspins) Photos. So let’s enjoy this journey together.

1. The friendly doggo at Q.C Circle.

(This photo was taken at the Quezon City Memorial Circle, Philippines. This is the first time I’ve encountered when an aspin (Asong Pinoy) is the one who approaches first a person. It is rare because most of the Aspin are aloof with people. He started to wiggle his tail when he saw us with my friends in the Circle. We tried to feed him but he denied the burger that we bought for him.)

2. Doggo in the sand

(This photo was taken in a beach at Calatagan, Batangas Philippines. Early in the morning this doggo is enjoying the sun laying on the sand)
